They bought new dresses...
They travelled from far far away to the castle where the wedding was going to take place. Everyone was there! Grandparents, aunts and uncles, and even little babies. It was very exciting to see all the people arriving. Some tried to peek at the Princess, but she was busy getting everything perfect for her wedding, helped by her lady in waiting. So, everyone waited and waited...
Eventually, everyone was sitting down, waiting for the big event to begin. People who were very dear to the Princess and her Prince came down the aisle, until soon the only one left to come was the Princess herself. And there she was, crying tears of joy as she walked with her beloved mother and father (aka the Queen and King for the night) towards her Prince, smiling through her tears at all the friends and family who had come to celebrate with her. Everyone gasped to see the gorgeous Princess, who looked like a beautiful swan in her wedding gown.
Prince Charming smiled and smiled to see his beautiful Princess, and the ceremony got started. The King and Queen beamed with pride and happiness.
Afterwards, there was time for visiting, and feasting, and lots and lots of celebratory dancing! It was a wedding that the kingdom would remember for many years.
And the Prince and the Princess? Well, they lived happily ever after of course!
